The three websites I chose as being most helpful were: How Web Serveres' Cookies Threaten Your Privacy, Cookie Central, and Microsoft Knowledge Base: How to delete Cookie Files.
How Web Serveres' Cookies Threaten Your Privacy
This site starts out by explaining just what cookies are in a way that anyone can understand. After explaining cookies this site goes on to tell you the advantages and disadvantages of cookies. The sites explains what programs give out too much information in cookies and what to do and also how to save or export cookies and delete cookies.
Cookie Central
"Cookie Central" started out by giving a little bit of background history on the WWW (world-wide web). After explaining the basics, the site goes on to talk about cookies. Where they come from, what they do, what they can do, what harm they cause, if they cause harm, ect. There are self-explanitory tabs that point in the direction you might want to go.
Microsoft Knowledge Base: How to delete Cookie Files
"Microsoft Knowledge Base: How to delete Cookie Files" gives step-by-step instructions. Contrary to what the title implies, this site not only tells users how to delete cookie files, but tells the user how to save and or export the cookie files. This site gives users step by step instructions for the numrous different internet explorers.
